I'm currently still going through a lot of confusion with TESU admissions to try to locate the four transcripts I sent them, but let's optimistically assume those credits go through fine... Now with this new transfer credit policy to rush,
I currently still have the following courses I need to complete to meet the TESU BSBA GM requirement, excluding their cornerstone and capstone:
- American Government
- International Business
- Managerial Communication
- Managerial Accounting
- Principles of Finance
& 4 AOS UL courses (I've already done DSST Human Resource Management and DSST Organizational Behavior which I assume counts for 2 LL in AOS)
- Do the following work for my above remaining courses? (listing more UL courses so I can choose)
Study.com for General Management Area of Study UPPER LEVEL
- Finance 306 Small Business Finance
- Finance 202 Financial Institutions & Markets
- Business 309 Digital Marketing & Advertising
- Accounting 302 Advanced Accounting
TECEP for General Management Area of Study UPPER LEVEL
TECEP Sales Management
TECEP Marketing Communications
Davar Academy
- MAN 330 International Management for General Management Area of Study UPPER LEVEL
- MAN 390 Managerial Communication for Professional Business Managerial Communication Requirement
Instantcert.com
Instantcredit course American Government for General Education Civic Engagement Requirement
Study.com
- Accounting 102 Intro to Managerial Accounting for Professional Business Managerial Accounting Requirement
- Business 120 International Business for Professional Business International Business Requirement
Also, I'm a bit lost at how I can take these courses as RA credits if I can't finish them up before March to meet TESU's new transfer policy.
Would doing these from study.com/instantcert.com/Davar/SOPHIA make it possible to transfer to a RA institution before I transfer it onwards into TESU?
Then the question comes to how the credits will transfer from ACE into said RA institution THEN onto TESU. How do I find this information? Does anyone know if there are users on this forum that have done this?
Thanks so much guys. I'm going nuts but at least have preserved enough sanity to try to sort this plan out in my mind, being able to share this on here is the main reason why I've not gone to a corner to start crying.. I appreciate y'all so much!

There is no option to 'convert' ACE or NCCRS credits into RA credit at TESU. You'll need to either complete any 90+ non-collegiate before March, or plan some RA credits into your roadmap.
If there was a trick to hide or launder ACE credits as RA at TESU, not only would it not be a secret on this board, everyone would be doing it.

Right, that makes sense. I edited my wording in the post as the converting was just a random thought. I'm more so wondering if the courses I have left can be taken in RA institutions.
Do you reckon where I can find information on RA courses that would match the above I have remaining to complete?

To confirm what @innen_oda said, this just isn't possible. Colleges can easily see the source of transfer credits on a transcript and will request original transcripts from each academic institution.
The only way to "convert" ACE credits into RA credits is to retake those courses from a regionally accredited college. In the past, this meant having to enroll in a community college or 4-year college and jump through the normal hoops. But at least there are alternative options now for RA credits.
If you cannot complete the balance of credits you need before March, you have a few options as I see it:
1. Make sure you get as many of your GenEd's out of the way via ACE as you can. Then, look for at RA credit sources like local community colleges, online colleges (ASU earned admission, for example), or places like TEL learning to earn the balance of courses you need.
2. Drop TESU and find a degree at Excelsior that you like and plan to complete the degree there. They haven't put any restrictions on ACE credits for their bachelor's degrees (yet).
3. Drop TESU and check to see if WGU has a degree that fits you. You can still only transfer in up to 90 credits towards degrees at WGU, but you can complete the balance of ~30 credits (10 courses) from WGU for much less than you can from TESU or elsewhere. Plus, they are competency-based, which means you can complete courses from WGU at approximately the same speed that you could at Study.com, StraighterLine, or Sophia.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

BSBA (Computer Information Systems), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
ASNSM (Computer Science), 2019, Thomas Edison State University

I've already completed all of the GE except american government.
WGU doesn't work for me because I don't live in the USA.
Excelsior is a bit out of my price range and I would have to re-do a lot of courses to meet their UL requirements.
And the RA places you mentioned only offer GE courses it seems, so it looks like I'm stuck with the rushing option.
Do you mind taking a look at my list to see if my assumptions of the following for transfer are correct?

It is one option for RA credit. online access with some self paced courses. Some are instructor led with specific start/finish date. no admission hoops to jump through to take the courses in the "earned admission" program. cost isn't too bad. there are lower options of course. about $425 per course. If I recall correctly, you pay 25 to take the course. and then if you like the grade you get, you pay 400 to get it on transcript. Then if you need to retake the course, that's an option and only the one you pay for credit shows up.
downside is limits on the number of courses in the earned admission program. Not sure how it translates in cost, admission etc if using regular ASU online.

The ASU EA courses are (with a few notable exceptions) relatively easy ways to get RA credits. For several of them, the grading scale means that you are essentially guaranteed at least a C grade so long as you pay attention and do well in the weekly quizzes. They are not the cheapest RA option out there but they are the least expensive to start. As P226mem said, it costs $25 to attempt an ASU course for credit. That means that it's very low risk (financially speaking) because you can just take the course again for another $25 if you don't pass or if you feel that the grade is just too low. Your previous attempts at the class are not mentioned on your transcript.
TEL Learning is about half the price but seems to be quite a bit more work than most ASU courses are.

OP, if you are already enrolled, then you are grandfathered in; meaning, you can bring in MORE than 90cr of ACE as long as you get them all to TESU by March 1. So the question is, are you enrolled? If not, enroll immediately.
Then, continue on with your plan - take those UL AOS courses FIRST thing and get them to TESU stat. Then, take Am Got through ICC and get that in. My goal would be to have EVERYTHING completed prior to 2/15, so that you can get them to TESU, get them evaluated, and be ready for the cornerstone and capstone.
At cutoff date (3/1) you will be in a position to see what is left to do, at which point come back and ask how to get any final courses via RA - hopefully you won't need any, but worst case scenario you'll be able to take a TECEP exam or 2 to throw in Free Electives, or replace a course you'e already taken.

Are you looking to complete a bachelor's in business/management? I would check out UMPI. You can transfer in ACE credits. You need to complete 30 credits at UMPI. UMPI is competency based so you move at your own pace not on a semester schedule with all of the extra papers, quizzes, exams, discussion, blah blah blah.I found it very easy to complete over 30 credits in 2 terms. Each term is 8 weeks long and costs $1,400. There are NO additional fees. The fee includes ALL course content - no outside books or software. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions about UMPI.
