Quick FEMAs?

I have never taken a FEMA course before, and I only need three. I'm just wondering if anyone remembers taking any that were particularly easy/fast. I'm enrolled at TESC, using these for free electives.

I recommend taking any three of the following courses; they are part of the FEMA PDS Series (managerial bend), only 25 questions each and if you download the course guide the search function is your friend.Big Grin

Is there any way that I can know if all of those are accepted by TESC without calling/emailing them? I will if I have to, but I'd rather not wait until Monday for someone to answer.

Yes, they are all accepted. I am also a TESC student and they are sitting on my transcript.

TESC accepts a maximum of 25 FEMA credits, but they have more than 25 to choose from. The list TESC gave me (which I beleive is the exact same as the one posted) included some that no longer exist, so there are actually less options than it looks like. I did 21 and couple only had 15 questions . . . sorry I don't remember which ones.

This is probably a silly question but does the course number having a ".a" at the end mean anything? Perhaps it's just an updated course?

For example...in just browsing the FEMA site some courses such as IS-5.a and IS-8.a exist. Are those the same as IS-5 and IS-8 in that they would be accepted?
West Virginia University at Parkersburg, Associate of Applied Science, Board of Governors program

Traditional College Credits (RA):
18 Credits

ALEKS & CSM Learn:
12 Credits

Straighterline:
15 Credits

Sophia:
38 Credits
Total from All Sources:
83 Credits

I don't know what the .a stands for, but they are the same and tesc accepted them.
