Is there a process to retake your exam earlier than 6 months like CLEP exams? I have disputed a CLEP exam and should receive a decision this week for the College Mathematics test. Wish me luck!

I haven't heard anything about that but I highly doubt it. It might work if the exam required an essay but not really for multiple choice or it could be like the AP exam where you would pay a moderate fee ($20 I think) and they look over it again. Best of Luck!

Thanks for the info. CLEP left me a message this morning stating I'm not eligible to retake the College Mathematics test. I have to wait at least 3 months before I can contest it. Why didn't the lady I spoke to on the phone for 10 minutes explain this to me? What a waist of time and paper!!!
I think their policy should be 3 months anyway!

Hello all.
Sorry this has nothing to do with the original topic but I had a question about DANTES. Is there a tutorial you can download to see what to expect like it is for the CLEP? I've never taken a DANTES exam before and I'm scheduled for one on Monday, August 4.
Thanks.

When I have taken the test I have not really noticed a difference.

To contest a CLEP you have to call the number and ask how to do it. You just basically write a letter with the information they tell you to provide and either fax it in or mail it.
And for the DANTES example...no they don't have one because you take the test online. It is not a program like CLEP. It is just like CLEP, but can be slower because it's over the internet. One time I drove all the way to the testing center and couldn't take the test because DANTES server was down. That ever happen to anyone?
