Thanks McNulty_CM. I read in the following posting that something is suppose to happen at the end of September. Wonder if it's the end of the current contract. Best to wait till things have cleared up if one hasn't already started the courses.

I spoke with both stl and fhsu and ec and the stl contract is through the end of the year... fhsu send transcripts to ec so eng101, acct 201 (mangagerial) and math 101 are all good to go.... those are the only ones I checked on as they are the only ones I needed

I started Macroeconomics this week. There are nineteen graded assessments. The first assessment was forty multiple-choice questions. I found that the Straighterline lesson alone did not cover the material in the assessment, and the practice sets were considerably easier than the questions on the assessment itself. The textbook is on the way.
Hope this helps!

Macroeconomics is 19 chapters with a 40 question multiple choice exam (each worth 40 pts) after each chapter. It took me 2 weeks to get through it by simply reading the chapter and then taking the exam. I did not use any of the SL materials and finished with a high B.
Microeconomics is 24 chapters with a 40 question multiple choice exam (each worth 50 points) after each chapter. This class took me a week to get through it and again I only used the book, not any SL material. I finished with an A.
On to Accounting I and Accounting II............

I "took" college algerbra. Its only 5 tests, I believe 20 questions each test. I got a B, FHSU took it put it on my transcript as taking it from their campus and walaaaa..."B" at FHSU to boost my gpa there. $99 is real you just have to let your advisor know you dont want to be re-billed, unlimited courses.

I apologize, I am not trying to hijack the thread, but I have not been able to search up an answer elsewhere.
Would one of you who has, or is in the process of taking this course please share your experience with regard to the need for the textbook?
