Has anyone confirmed that the Straighterline > FH > EC route works too?
Does EC accept the English as WER?
I've already finished all the others - just need to get the English WER out of the way.
Thanks.

Has anyone heard any updates regarding Fort Hays' partnership with Straighterline? Will it be renewed?
Only very recently I decided I was going to try Straighterline, and then I saw on here that it might not be an option anymore!! So sad!
Does anyone have any news? Hunches? Good thoughts?
Thanks,
Kelly

I'm very interested in this as well. I am currently about half way through MacroEconomics and should finish next week. I want to finish Microeconomics, Accounting I, and Accounting II before the end of September but I think it's a long shot. There are currently only 2 partner schools that accept EcoII and ACCII, Fort Hayes and Lake City. Lake City requires you to take a class with them but they do not have any distance learning classes available now. Which makes FHSU the only option...gulp
Does anyone know what happened to Ellis University and Grand Canyon University as partner schools?

I'm hoping at some point Straighterline will put up more screen shots, etc. on their site to demonstrate what the courses look like. I want to know if it'll be a big adjustment from ALEKS/CourseCompass before I take the leap.

If your looking for precal jump on it. I finished within a week and had my transfer credit on my school within two. Much easier and faster than ACE

Yes- I emailed my advisor at EC a while back, and received this response. You might want to check with them just to play it safe, as policies change from time to time.
You are approved to take both ENG*101 and MATH*110, these courses will satisfy your Written English Requirement and also your Quantitative Requirement. Please let us know if we can be of additional assistance.
Sincerely,

Well, it'd be College Algebra-- close enough. You might be better at math, though. I'd hate to spend $100 and totally suck at the Straighterline course.

Latest info on the topic... I just spoke with Jennifer at Straighterline. She has informed me that, to date, there has been no change in the partnership between Straighterline and Fort Hays. She could not speak for FHSU, but did say if there was a change, it would be reflected on the Straighterline web site.
I then spoke with Kalene (K-lean) at FHSU, in the registrars office. To her knowledge, there has been no change in the partnership between Straighterline and Fort Hays. She too has heard rumblings about a change, but as of now, September 1, everything is status quo. My suggestion is that if this is a course of action that you want to take, do it quickly, as it might not last... or it might. As for now, according to both institutions, we are good.
I did not take it to the third step, EC. My thought is that they will have no issue at all. I am not currently registered at EC, so they wouldn't talk to me anyway, but the FHSU-EC transfer is the least of my worries. Anyway back to IC and studying for Micro/Macro double next week.
