I'm looking to take some classes with Dr. Zaborney and potentially make an additional minor out of it...would that be Political Science? I need to update Jessica but I wasn't sure if it was History or Poli Sci. TIA.

Check out what courses Dr Zaborney teaches, I think it's mainly History, so you'll be getting a History minor... If Dr Zaborney also has Political Science courses under their belt of courses taught, then that would work for Political Science as well.

I looked at the list of History courses I would need to receive the History Minor and I didn't see his name attached to any of the classes as the professor but I'll check again.

Political science. I took 6 UL poli sci courses with Dr Z and that got me the second minor in Political science. I took one history class with him just for fun (infectious disease).
Many of the history classes are other professors.

I'm taking Professor Zaborney's classes and they qualify for either a Political Science or History minor. Looking for opinions as to which one looks better on a resume or has more legs to stand on. For reference, I work in Marketing as a Senior Digital Strategist. My job requirements include graphic design, SEO, PPC/ads, social media, email, content writing, blogging, etc. I'm open to either and don't really plan to pursue a political science related field or become a history teacher but I find the classes very interesting so I want to add one as my second minor. Thanks in advance for your input.

Political science has more obvious common ground with marketing than history does. Messaging, polling, focus groups, crisis communication, etc.

These were some of the pros I came up with for political science as well. More analytical. I also have some pros for history - writing, strong research, etc. but your insight is very helpful.

Infectious Disease is one I plan to take as well to fulfill my final requirement of 10 classes. Was it difficult?
