Almost no single statistic is ever the full picture since there can never be an end-all-be-all answer for things that play out in real life. I myself brought up the same variables when I read the stats. However, these statistics were based on the Masters degree in Business Administration which is specific to your thread topic, and when we're talking not 1 or 2K or even 5K but $20,000 more as a combined comparison of thousands of students, it's not a dismissible figure either. There is something to it.

There's a great deal that goes into salary. What industries were these employees in? Location? Other degrees? Corporate level? Having just one CEO with a MBA can drastic skew statistics. Statistics are easily manipulated as well so I rarely put much faith into them.

Right. Still, something to consider. After all, if we're going to be 100% honest, Purdue Global doesn't have a great reputation and part of that is because Purdue University students mock it and say unfavorable things about it quite often, and another part is because of its past history as Kaplan which didn't have a great reputation, so it's not much of a surprise that the salary numbers aren't great either.
