The ones who are complaining on discord are one who isn't even in the program and another who is asking the same questions and not listening or looking for their own answers. Some people just like to stir up drama.
This is a Pilot Program that wasn't even intended for the public. Due to a glitch the application webpage was put out into the ether and UMASS Global made the business decision to go ahead and allow others to be in the program. As a pilot program we are getting a great price in order to help them work through the bugs and as they work on ironing our and clarifying things. Patience and understanding is required in a pilot program.
For those that aren't willing to go through that, this program isn't for you...and that is perfectly okay. Nothing wrong with that.
With that said. I have had no issues. I received access to my first 3 courses as expected on Tuesday and am nearly done with the first course. Just waiting on grading for the last milestone so I can get into the final assessment.
Also, you have been admitted into the FB group. You kept getting denied because you didn't answer the group questions.

I'm impressed! It's wonderful to hear the grading turnaround can be that fast.
How do I get invited to the Discord? I'd love to hear about the process for adding classes when you get to that point.

If the grading turn around and course levels remain about the same, I don’t see why not. Since we all just started, I will report back in 6 months

There's always bugs and things that need to be worked out in new programs. That's just how life is. I don't know why anyone expected the first few months to be picture perfect. I mean there's problems with classes on campuses that are 10 years old. Things happen.

Seriously! The complaining I am seeing is mind boggling. But some people can never be happy I guess.

It appears doable so far. The grading is the only thing slowing people down, and even that it can basically be negated by scattering class work by doing other classes while one is grading.
If they release faster grading and allow 12 units to transfer in down the road then it will be even more feasible.
