Is anyone else being told COS-116 C Programming is a required course for the BSBA CIS? Everything I find says "a programming language" or something similar. I don't see anything mentioning a specific class or language.

I'm going to make an appointment to talk to advising next week. I would think this class would meet the programming language requirement: "CIT-130 Object Oriented Programming 1/Java: This course uses the skills gained in CIT-111 and expands on the concepts of the software development process, data representation and storage, program control structures, objects and classes. Additional topics include event handling, arrays and window based graphical user interfaces (GUIs)." But maybe there is some other issue or requirement that i'm missing.

TESC accepted a JavaScript class I took at the local Community College for their programming requirement. Not even Java.

I took Penn Foster's Introduction to Programming and it satisfied TESC BSBA CIS Programming Language requirement as COS-111.

I talked to an adviser last night and got the problem resolved. Looks like the actual issue was that the class was described as a CAP. I sent in the course description and it was changed to COS and is now showing as fulfilling the requirement.
