I am totally prepared to go for clep principles of management based on instacert. I reviewed REA practice test and was shocked to know that I was unable to respond to their questions and the way the questions were set up, I need a feedback from anyone who has appeared for this test to let me know if I have to rely on REA or go ahead with Instacert preparation.

As a general best practice, you want to be sure to use multiple sources to study for any test, and more is often better. IC is a great choice for one of those sources, but there are almost always some questions that are not covered strictly by the IC materials. Taking practice tests is a good way to not only test yourself, but I also find them an excellent source to help me learn (or reinforce) material. They get you thinking about things in different ways, and when you review your failed answers it will help identify the areas you're weak in.
The free-clep-prep website provides links to freely available online study materials for most tests. Plus the specific exam feedback in the forums provides a lot of details on the focus areas and study materials that have worked for others for each test.
That being said, it is my understanding that Principles of Management is one of the easier exams to study for, so if you're acing the IC flashcards, and passing the example exams, you may be okay with just IC. But its never a good idea to rely only on IC... particularly if you need higher than a base passing score.
