Premature "I'm Done" and all my books for free!
#1
Hi Everybody,
Got back today scoring a 440 on my last test, Business Ethics & Society. I still have the EC Capstone which I'm signed up to complete the 8 week starting May 7th, but I have no more tests needed to study for or sign up for. Once done I should be conferred in the July batch, won't make the Commencement, but heck, I'm happy where I'm at right now.

Lots of help from this forum. I wouldn't have been able to complete as quickly as I did without the help of everyone input and discussions here. It has taken 10 years for me to complete from the first 2.5 years of college where I actually attended, to a 6 year break, to finishing up in 1.5 years (and that was with a 3 month break as well!). Thanks to all who answered my questions and who provides input on a daily basis. I'm sure I will still be around later to provide input where I can.

Now, I have a lot of books that i do not need. These are all books used on my journey here, but don't want to store for the possibility of using them in the future. No more hoarding for me. Its spring cleaning time. The only thing I ask for is the shipping to be paid for. It all fits in a Large USPS Priority Mail box, so a flat $15.45 is the cost.

The books are:

REA - General Exams book
DSST - Official Study Guide (rare to find, check amazon to what tests included)
2x Comex Study Guides - Natural Sciences CLEP and Social Sciences & History CLEP
2 x Business Ethics book on the DSST recommended study list for Business Ethics and Society DSST
1 x Ethics book on the ECE recommended study list for Ethics: Theory and Practice
The 9th edition of the textbook used in the CSU MGMT311 - Operation & Quality Mangement includes excel OEM cd

Again, you are getting all the books, not just one or two. It'll make shipping easier on my part, sorry I'm being a little lazy.

Just be the 1st to PM me and lets get them sent to you!

Congratulations! It must feel great to be so close to finishing your degree!

I couldn't tell from your post - do you want to go to the graduation ceremony this year? If so, ask your advisor about it. You are so close to having your degree completed that they may allow you to participate. Let us know what happens.

Books are sold!! Thanks for everyone interested.

I'm not so stuck on going to the ceremony. I live in Cali, and will actually be taking a trip out to NY the week of July 4th, but not sure about flying back the following week for the ceremony. might still see what I can do. But i don't need a ceremony to know what I accomplished (it is great to receive the recognition though!)

Yes, find out what your options are, but maybe next year's ceremony will work out better for your schedule. Either way, be sure to take some time to celebrate this and you could watch the ceremony online, too.

I got to go to the graduation ceremony and other events for my associate degree. It was a great experience, and I am planning to go again for my bachelor's degree.
