Ok I had made a post awhile ago on which big 3 is for me and have been working on mostly upper division units I requested a preliminary evaluation from TESU to be safe and just received it back and now I'm really confused all my upper divisions are complete ?? But my gen Eds aren't 😱
Not surprising. I had a lot of Gen Education classes to complete because what I had taken in my Associates degree plan didn't quite fit into one of their categories. Yet, they all fit somewhere - in electives or AOS. In some ways that makes it easier - you just need some intro classes, easily found through the various testing methods.

my thoughts exactly. easier and generally cheaper.

I really hate these preliminary evals, as they are completely confusing to me, and I am really knowledgable about TESU's degrees. I can't even imagine how someone who isn't knowledgeable can figure this all out.
But, what I can say is that they have a hierarchy, and they put things into your degree in a certain way, depending on your degree:
1) UL credits that will fit into the AOS, since those are the hardest to find
2) LL credit that fit into the AOS
3) Specific Requirements
So, sometimes you'll want to move things because you'll find an easier way to get a requirement done that will make it easier to complete your degree more cheaply than they have it. But, generally, the way they put things in the first time through is the best way.

Ok so is this preliminary evaluation accurate ? And if so where is best place to complete gen eds ? I have been working on the degree plan you made for me because I wanted to get this done and truthfully it made complete sense the way you had it ..

Honestly, I can't work from that stupid prelim eval. I would just apply and get a real eval completed. THEN, you can see what's left, and go from there.

I was thinking the same thing ... I somehow feel this was done wrong
