I had planned to pursue an MBA or Master's in Management after completing my Bachelor's degree in business and teach business as a career. I have been advised Pell Grants can be used to pay for a Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification as long as no degree is awarded. Thanks to Sophia, I am graduating with two years of Pell Grant eligibility remaining.
I'd like to find an online, Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program, at a regionally accredited college, that will allow me to take graduate business courses ( cross registration??? ), as well as the requisite education courses, in pursuit of my teacher certification using my Pell Grant. Hopefully, the tuition will be very affordable and the business courses could be transferred to an MBA program at a later date. Ideally, the graduate program offering the business courses will be accredited by AACSB but I can live without it.
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Note these requirements for a postbaccalaureate teacher preparation program to be Pell-eligible,
from the Code of Federal Regulations:
Code of Federal Regulations Wrote:An otherwise eligible student who has a baccalaureate degree and is enrolled in a postbaccalaureate program is eligible to receive a Federal Pell Grant for the period of time necessary to complete the program if—
(1) The postbaccalaureate program consists of courses that are required by a State for the student to receive a professional certification or licensing credential that is required for employment as a teacher in an elementary or secondary school in that State;
(2) The postbaccalaureate program does not lead to a graduate degree;
(3) The institution offering the postbaccalaureate program does not also offer a baccalaureate degree in education;
(4) The student is enrolled as at least a half-time student; and
(5) The student is pursuing an initial teacher certification or licensing credential within a State.
Criterion 3 rules out most colleges and universities with a teacher preparation program.

So theoretically, a CC with a teaching post bachelors program should work.

Thank you Jonathan, you came to my rescue. I was completely unaware of criterion 3. Do any schools come to mind?

Here in Texas, we have a program called Teachers of Tomorrow which helps individuals looking to get certified in teaching in the state of Texas. You can register for free but once you get your first teaching job it comes out of your first year's salary or you can pay for the course out of pocket. I actually went through the program and I passed the test to teach in any subject for middle school students but as soon as I passed my test the state got rid of that specific area and after that I lost interest. You could probably do an online search for what is available in your state.

Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a college that offers a Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification with the following criteria:
1) Doesn't offer an undergraduate degree in education.
2) Regionally accredited.
3) Will allow me the freedom to pick my own classes including business courses.
4) Is inexpensive.
5) AACSB accredited if possible.
Suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

There are a few specifically graduate schools of education, including at Harvard, Penn, Stanford, Rutgers, and Buffalo, and the freestanding Bank Street Graduate School. Those would be first places to look, though I don’t know whether any currently offers a Pell-eligible postbaccalaureate teacher preparation program, or further whether any is online or would meet your other criteria.

I think education undergraduate programs are pretty common everywhere. Even if you were to find a program that meets your criteria I don't think you can apply Pell grant moeny towards graduate degree courses. Most post-bacc programs are after a bachelor's degree but are still undergraduate coursework. You would have to apply the grant money towards your post bacc classes and pay out of pocket for your graduate MBA courses.

And an FYI, there won't be one with AACSB as they don't deal with education or teaching, AACSB only handles Accounting or Business related programs...
