Planning statistics and anthropology
#1
I am trying to plan in study time for two tests: Anthropology and Statistics. My background is that I am strong in social sciences, weak in math. I am so super busy over the next 3 months, that I literally have to block out time for these two exams, where normally I can just work them in. So- I need an idea of about how many hours I should allow for the material?

For anthropology- I am planning 10 hours, does that sound about right?

For statistics- I have no idea (remember I am not strong at math)- anyone willing to throw out some numbers? 20 hours? 50 hours? 100? 1,000

I just took the stats exam and I only studied for maybe 8 hours total, but I am math oriented and I felt lucky to pass because it was very difficult. Look at the "exams" forum to get some helpful hints about the test, because that helped me a ton. I would committ at least 15 hours to it if you know you are weak in math...

I took a week to stusy for stats but it was off and on. About 15 hours total and I have a good background in math. I never found it to be hard but rather, time consuming to study, especially on a crazy schedule. Good Luck!

Jennifer,

Anthropology:
I probably spent about 10 hours studying for Anthro and that was enough. However, as is posted in the specific exam forum...
