I wonder if I am exempt of the new student fee too. I also applied in July and my account says I owe zero USD. Looks like I am going to be a December graduate too.

Really don't mind paying the $130 for an emphasis in something different, with all these 'elective' credits I have from all over the place...
Still kind of undecided, there are a few I am interested in that I don't have a concentration in with the previous Associates/Bachelors... I am thinking something different than my undergrad, or ENEB/UK Level 7 Diplomas (so it would not be Business or IT related). allvia Wrote:I thought the Pierpont BOG AAS wasn't open to anyone who already had an associate degree or above? Am I missing something? Pierpont doesn't fully follow through with the RA requirements either, it's not fully enforced. That's the only reason people who have an Associates or higher are able to get this degree. I checked on the NSCH, they're part of the participating institutions list for verifications too: PIERPONT COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE 040385 FAIRMONT WV allvia Wrote:Since the fee is a 'New student fee' you may have applied before it went into effect. You may be one of the last to get in totally free (pre-Fee). I applied Sept 4 or 5th, forgot which day, and it took a few days to get everything for my transcripts to complete. I am going to graduate for December as well, but I haven't even applied for graduation. I'll do that this week (anytime before Oct 1) and should be good to go...

I applied in July and I got the email the other day about the $130 needing to be paid before 9/29. I called Pierpont and they explained about the fee. I'm paying it this week so I can graduate in December.

Just received my $130 bill by postal mail yesterday. I did not receive an email about the $130 fee at all. I was not informed about this bill from the register, Mrs. Parks, or anyone else. The postal mail was sent by the accounting department.
Today, I see that the fee showed up on my "Account Summary" on the Pierpont portal. There is no due date given on the $130 bill. My question: is there a way to pay this bill online? I don't see an online "pay bill" button on their portal. On the postal mail, it instructs me to send in a check as a form of payment. Did anyone pay this bill online?
