Yes, I would follow the info in the links in post #12 for reference. If you also want to review questions/info in your previous thread, it's here: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...-Questions

Hi,
I am looking towards getting a Pierpont AAS.
I am taking Sophia courses,
and I will end up taking as many credits as possible,
to eventually transfer to UMPI,
or TESU.
I also have 40+ RA credits.
I have a question that sounds strange,
but I am a little confused.
My Question is,
Can I just apply to Pierpont for the AAS degree,
and then transfer all my credits in later?
Basically once accepted,
I will send in my RA transcripts soon after I am a student of Pierpont.
THANK YOU!!!

It's a little repetitive... I'm merging your threads together, as you've asked the question a couple or three times already. Basically, for all institutions including Pierpont, UMPI, TESU, etc, it's always applying, sending in your transcripts (classes you're going to complete or have completed, regardless if it's alternative credit or RA), and lastly finishing classes required for residency. You want to review the last thread I have linked you to... Again, you're just confusing yourself, just apply, send in all transcripts, complete more ACE/RA credits until you have completed the requirements.

OK Thank you!
I have started taking Sophia courses,
and signed up for a Local CC class for January.
So I stopped procrastinating that way! Ha Ha!!
Partly what I am trying to do is Use FA in the future,
to get 2 BA degrees.
Not sure if that helps to understand my repetitiveness.
But I apologize for that!
I am just confusing myself.
I appreciate all your advice!!!

WGU: you MUST finish everything before enrolling.
UMPI: it is strongly suggested to finish everything before enrolling.
TESU: enroll before finishing all classes, lest you waste time/energy
Pierpont: doesn't care, but transcript audits can take a while, so it's recommended to at least minimize transfers to one or two; one when you apply, and then another later if you still need credits.

TESU is probably the only exception as they make changes to their catalog year and it's rather random, otherwise, as Rachel83AZ and I mentioned, it's strongly recommended (or MUST in the case for WGU), to complete as many transferable credits to the institution as possible, then enroll. Apply, transfer credits, enroll... You should create a spreadsheet for each degree you're going for to keep reference and track your progress. Further you can link us too so we can review that and comment, advise modifications if any are needed...
