Pierpont BOG Progress

I have a post in the UMPI thread as well, but I am posting here to give people an idea of timelines and how the process is flowing for the Pierpont BOG AAS.  

I plan on using the AAS as a stepping stone to the BAS at UMPI, where I begin on 9/3.

Dean David Beighley is now overseeing the BOG program, not Nancy Parks.

Applied on 7/4
College transcripts sent 7/4
Accepted 7/8
Credly/Ace transcripts sent 7/25
Credly/Ace credits posted 7/29

My previous community college credits sent on 7/4 are still yet to appear.

My attempts at communication by email and telephone are have not been met with any response, other than an email on 7/16 asking if I still had questions...

I will keep this updated to give others some insight into how the process flows and timelines.

I am not sure which Coursera certificates counted as which credits. The certificates I have are:

They did not accept the TEEX cybersecurity courses for credit?

They are not showing on the unofficial transcript. It's not an issue I am going to waste any time following up on as I have enough showing for an Information Systems AoE as it is, and it would take them answering an email or voicemail which hasn't happened for over a month already at this point.

I just need to get them to post the credits from the other colleges and put in for graduation.

If it goes much longer I will probably just abandon the plan for the BAS, not send them the money because who knows when they would actually process anything and confer the degree, and just do a BABA at UMPI.

I have been calling the IT help desk requesting assistance with password reset on their voicemail, but I had not heard back from them.  I did find a link to communicate directly with the IT help which has had quick responses during business hours.  I will share it here, as it may help others with similar issues.

Status update on the rest of the process:

Still no comms from the BOG program, and the transcripts they downloaded from Parchment on 7/4 have not been processed.

Another month gone by. I emailed Bagley and the registrar's office this last week, just asking for an update or confirmation they have the transcripts that Parchment shows they downloaded more than two months ago now. No response. First time I have emailed or called since my last attempt on the 5th of last month. Still no replies or word on any voicemails or emails. Still no updates to transcripts.

Progress!

09/13/2024 - Unofficial transcript showing BOS AAS as pending under Degrees Awarded.

I transferred courses from three other public colleges, and those have still not been evaluated.

It seems like you are on a similar timeline with my brother. I'd recommend calling the Registrar's office and leaving a voice message explaining your situation.

6/24 applied and submitted transcripts electronically from 2 universities and Credly.
6/26 accepted
7/10 Brother called Admissions and confirmed they received every transcript the previous week and were being processed.
8/31 ROAR still empty
9/3 brother left a voicemail to the Registrar's Office and his University transcripts were processed by the end of the day by Lisa.
9/4 Credly Transcripts were processed. Contacted Dean Beighley for a degree audit.
9/11 Sent followup email.
9/15 Day 11 of waiting for a response from Dean Beighley.
