I'm currently finishing up sophia courses to get my BOG AAS. As far as my area of emphasis, which would you recommend to go from a retail assistant manager to a store manager? I'm looking at either business or management, thanks

No, don't bother with a generic business or leadership, management emphasis since you're already going for the BABA. You should go for a different emphasis such as Info Systems, this way, you'll be somewhat versed in multiple fields instead of being only versed in 'business': https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Leadership

Business AOS - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC
If you're going directly to a bachelor from this, then it really won't matter much.

That's right, when you have a Bachelors, they wouldn't look at the Associates much if it's in the same subject matter. It would only be beneficial if it's in a different subject matter. My recommendation still remains, do another emphasis at Pierpont for the BOG unless you don't have enough energy, time to get those credits...

I agree. If you're going to get a BABA, don't bother with a Business AOE at Pierpont. Get Info Systems or something along those lines.

I probably wouldn't bother with an emphasis unless you can get it using credits you need for the bachelor's anyway.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)
