Hello.
I have my eyes set on taking the CLEP Sociology exam. I've taken the 3 Peterson's exams cold (I know this is definitely not recommended) and I scored a 59, 58 and 65 on them, with the average score being 60.
My question is, would you say I'm ready to proceed and take the CLEP Sociology test? Or would you recommend studying? I personally think I'm ready, but what I fear is failing the test, throwing away money and having to wait 6 months to retake it...But at the same time, I'd say I'm willing to take the risk.
What do you say?

Obviously you want to be prepared and feel confident that you will pass. Looking at your PPE scores and also noting that you already have two previous clep exams under your belt I would say that you're ready.
Nevertheless, a little bit of study can only re-enforce your chances - Good Luck!

On the first Peterson's test, I got 74% (roughly a 64, if I remember right), and scored a 77 on the real thing, so the Peterson's tests must be harder than the real thing.
If you have access to IC, I would recommend running through the cards just once to get some exposure to some of the terms. Otherwise, just reviewing all your answers on the Peterson's tests should be enough, looking up everything necessary on Wikipedia.
Know the main players in Sociology like Max Weber, Emile Durkheim, and Karl Marx. I'm sure you'll pass it fine!
