Years ago, I would have told you 50% or better on a Petersons put you on the edge and 60% was a slam dunk.... but that's not been the case lately. In the specific exam feedback as well as parents on my homeschooling page are reporting good Peterson's scores but very low or failing CLEP scores. My current suggestion is better than 70% on at least 2 of the Peterson's. AND, don't consider a retake a valid score- retakes are useless predictors of success but are fine for more study prep.

It depends on the exam, how recently they updated the exam, how recently Peterson's updated the book, etc.
