Seriously though, I had no problems at all signing up. Both my wife and I have taken information literacy very recently and that is the only PF class we have taken. Either the person who dealt with me or kisseld make a mistake. I took the class and the transcript is on its way to EC right now. I think wb.john should attempt to sign up and see what happens and let us know!

I will try. But kisseld was told that this new policy was effective July 15th, which is very recent. It is possible that you enrolled just before the new policy came in.

There is still the LSU Library Research course. It has the disadvantage of requiring a proctored exam and an assigned textbook. It costs me $25 for a proctored exam and the book is around $60. The course itself is $94. I wonder if one could do without the book?

Wow. Well, I'm so glad I signed up when I did, and yes, it was just before that. That's a major bummer, sorry for my oversight.

Give them a ring and try it. I talked to Mary Ann and she transfer me to someone to sign up. They said this is a new policy that started July 15th. Has anyone signed up for just IL after July 15th?

I just got a confirmation email from Penn Foster, and unfortunately that is the new policy:

Here is what they said:

"We have a minimum requirement now that you need to enroll in at least three credits."


My next question was, if we enroll in three credits, then decide to drop 2 of the credits (leaving only ENG 103), can we get our money back for the 2 credits.

Still waiting for a response on that smarta## question.

What if you have taken credits with them before? I have taken 12 credits already from the Business and Industrial division. Would they alllow me to take one more?
