Pearson wanting to explore using NFTs

Hmm, I thought they were making money, otherwise they wouldn't have acquired some companies over the last couple of years.

The article mentions they want to see if technology would help them in this arena, hope they get their "tech" to work well.

Sounds like a reason professors and colleges should avoid requiring students to purchase textbooks from companies who use these platforms. College is already too expensive. Books can cost $750 a semester. They need to be cheaper. I think Pearson have a hard time finding anyone to empathize with them not making money on books they've already profited from. The used textbook market is an absolute joke and has been for eons. Here's $3 on a book you spent $115 on and we'll turn it around and sell if for $100 as a used book.
