All grades count in your overall GPA for Excelsior, even my C's that I transferred in are part of the uphill battle I was undertaking to try to get an academic honor. UExcels are their own exams anyway, even if they didn't count other stuff, they'd count those.
Excelsior does keep track of your "Excelsior GPA" too, but it's only used for determining if you are eligible to stay enrolled.

I didn't know that! I'd like TESC to calculate the CBEs as part of my GPA... this would seem a more accurate reflection of my overall studies, rather than having them based on just one course. But, oh well.

Even though this is implemented by Pearson Vue, you have to assume that Excelsior has something to do with it because Pearson must have been receiving some portion of the exam fee in the past. To assume Excelsior has nothing to do with the fee increase is to assume that Pearson has been letting Excelsior students test for free all this time out of the goodness of their heart, LOL.
With that being said, I just signed up for three ECE's so that I can avoid paying the additional $50.00 dollar sitting fee for each exam.

Yes, I understand that. Maybe it's time for them to switch to ProctorU.
Do you know if the $50 will be charged for re-scheduling the exam online? Or does it apply only to first-time scheduling?

I think it would be difficult for them to separate from Pearson. My understanding is that Uexcels were developed in partnership with Pearson. I'm thinking that Excelsior wanted the whole exam fee instead of having to share it with Pearson. I don't know why Pearson needs to charge that much for testing.

From what my advisor told me, and from reading the notice, anything scheduled after July 1st will include the $50.00 dollar sitting fee.

Both GPAs will be on your transcript:

Thanks. What I meant was it's not used to determine if you got an academic honor.

Thanks, I really appreciate you posting this. I was able to go ahead and schedule the tests I needed. You saved me $100.

When does this take place? my Financial Accounting exam on 6/30 was marked on the old scale
