They did not when my daughter took them and she just finished ENG 300 last month.

Anyone have any suggestions about replacements for TESC Logistics or Project Management?
If I could find an easier/quicker alternative to one of these I could be done a lot sooner. I have financial aid for June so I need to take two classes. I have 2 classes at TESC, 2 PF, and 1 DSST planned for June-August. But then I would need one of these other classes in September. Three classes with due dates gets hard during the summer with my work picking up. If I could find an alternative to either of these TESC classes I could be done in August and that would make me so happy!

Sophia Learning offers a project management course that is ACE-approved. It's $329 and self-paced.

Thanks! Looks interesting. I used the search feature. Not a whole lot of feedback on it, but it doesn't look too diffcult or time consuming.
Man, I wish I was more active on these forums sooner. You guys are so helpful!!!

Hey guys! I have more questions. I finally got around to trying to register for Strategic Management and Supply Chain Management at PennFoster today. I just got off the phone with PF and the woman I spoke with said I could NOT take these individual courses because I am a Massachusetts resident (WTF). Is she right? She wasn't too clear why, she just said it was because of legal reasons. Is there a way around this?
I really really REALLY don't want to take another semester at TESC to finish these courses. Anyone have any other alternatives if I really can't take these at PF?

That doesn't even make sense. Check out this link Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Student Lesli It's about an MA resident who took veterinary tech courses. What number did you call? Who did you speak with? Did they give you the basis for this position? I suspect, unless some attorney general in MA is investigating them for something, there shouldn't be a problem. Keep knocking at the PF door until the right person answers. I'm just about done with Strategic Management, and it's going really well. I don't know anything about the Supply Chain Management course.
Good luck.

I just used the number listed on their individual courses page. I was transferred to a woman whose name I didn't catch. She didn't elaborate on it, other than stating it was "legal reasons." I was a bit taken back so I just said ok and didn't ask questions.
I see on other threads people have had satisfactory experience with Ann Gardner, so I think I will send her an email asking for further clarification and see what happens. |
