I am planning to take the abnormal psychology TECEP exam, to help me towards the residency requirement at TESC for the per credit tuition plan. The first book listed for this exam under recommended study guides is the Abnormal Psychology 16th edition book by Butcher, Minka & Hooley. As all textbooks generally are, this one is expensive. Someone else on here mentioned that they studied using just IS & passed, but felt like some of the questions came directly from the text of the book. Given this, I am wondering how helpful Pearson's additional study materials typically are towards the TECEP exams? i.e. MyPsychLab access, & eText
Can a MyPsychLab be used by one student & then sold to another? I don't know exactly what to look for when buying these.
Also, what is the difference between the eText from Pearson vs the eBook from Google?
I've been heavily debating getting an A La Carte version of the book, so I don't have to stare at a computer screen for hours, but on the ither hand I do much better studying from things like flashcards versus re-reading the same text numerous times.
Thanks!
