If SL's Accounting II transfers to TESC as Managerial Accounting; SL's Managerial Accounting transfers to TESC as Cost Accounting. What do these classes transfer to Excelisor College as, the same?

I started this Thursday night (a couple hours), with a couple of hours on Friday, a good chunk of Saturday (less a few hours for lunch and errands), and most of Sunday. Got through both Accounting I and II. I started off listening to the audio lectures but bailed on that by Saturday night. Book is an absolute must. The chapter summaries (including the key word list with page numbers), index and glossary are your friends. Lost the weekend but gained 6 credits. I'll take that trade.

Hello,
Can someone tell me how the chapters line up with the exams? Which chapters IN THE BOOK go with EXAM 1 and EXAM 2? I am not planning on using the TOPICS online since it has been suggested that they do not seem to go with what is in the exams. I just signed up for Accounting 101 yesterday and I have the 19th Edition of the book. But I want to take EXAM 1 but I am just unsure of which chapters I should study up on first before I try. Also, are there quizzes to take after each topic online? Thanks for your help!

I took it just long enough ago that I can't remember the specific order of things. However, the two Accounting courses are fairly straightforward. The chapter summaries and the index at the back of the book can help you find the appropriate information for the tests.

I took my first exam in Acct 101 last night and finished the course up today with a 91.8% grade. I have the book and used the INDEX and the GLOSSARY and nothing else. Worked great. I love this set up because as long as you have the knowledge to FIND information, then you can do this and do it well. I usually took about an hour for each exam and about a half hour longer for the midterm and final. Starting on Accounting 102 tomorrow.
Thanks again for all your help. I wish the Managerial Accounting book was cheap, I would try it after 102 since I am on a roll! :coolgleam:

The instacert forum has been extremely helpful in preparing study strategies for CLEPs, DSSTs, ALEKS & SL. Thanks to all who contribute. I have a specific question: Does anyone have the link to the McGraw Hill site where the practice quizzes are housed for the following classes? I'm including the text books in case that helps.
