Bumping this thread, as I'm getting ready to start Accounting I and II.
Are those PDFs still floating around? If so, I'd love to get my paws on 'em. Thanks in advance!

Thanks!
Looks like I'll be waiting a week to start it now though, as I mistakenly bought the wrong book. Didn't even realize until I opened it and saw it didn't have enough chapters. Hah. I swear I did it right, I ordered it right off of textbooks.com by searching the ISDN provided by straighterline. The book has the same cover too, but instead of being called Fundamental Accounting Principles, it's called Principles of Financial Accounting. I wonder if the people I ordered it from didn't screw it up, as the two books even share two of the same authors.

Alright ladies and gentlemen,
I am just at the halfway mark on the course Accounting II and if I continue at my current rate will be done in about two weeks with about an 80% in the course. Since Geezer posted his tips I believe some things have changed. Here's what you need to know: All of the exams (6 of them) are 2 hour time limit exams now. I read something about them being 5 hour exams further back in the thread. They aren't anymore They are 2hrs. You have 4 graded exams that are 25 questions each. A midterm that is 40 questions and a cumulative final Also 40 questions. I have been reading the textbook as I go along and I highly, highly recommend anyone seeking to pass the course do the same. These aren't easy credits but they are doable with the textbook. I don't see how you could pass without the text. Geezer's tips about the pdf's haven't really applied for me. I'm not sure if all the tests have been updated since he took the course or not...they're great for additional study but as far as cross referencing them during the actual exams, I just haven't really seen any value to them so far. His tip of using the glossary is a MUST. The glossary has saved my butt more than once! I think the real beauty of Straighterline is the fact that the exams are open book. I have found that 2 hours is more than enough time to take the exams (including the 40 question exams). So before the exam bookmark what sections of the book certain subjects are in and simply refer to the text during testing. Good Luck one and all!

Hi Everyone,
Just came across this post... I just signed up for Managerial Accounting through Straighterline and was wondering if this method worked in that class as well. Anyone know?? Thanks!!! ~Rachel

I will be confronting these two classes in the near future - possibly by SL. I went looking for the PowerPoint slides that were mentioned in an earlier post. I found them here.

Macroeconomics has been extremely tedious (21 &@!! exams!) and even though Accounting has less exams I'm not looking forward to taking them myself. Thanks for the updated link though!
