I am taking a dsst test next and was wondering how to do a peterson's exam. When I try to sign in i have to select what army branch I'm in...
I am not in the army.. How do I get past that? Is it only for deployed military and the like and on base? Thanks

If this list doesn't apply to you, try checking the websites of your local libraries (also big cities in your state) for the Testing and Education Resource (or Reference?) Center:

Was your father, grandfather or any other family member in the U.S. armed forces? Pick their branch. Then I am pretty sure that you select that you are a family member someplace in the next drop down.

From the conversation in the link above, it appears that many/most veterans are not included.

Free Clep Prep also has full length PTs for some Cleps and DSSTs, if that helps.
