Hi all,
I just wanted to make sure I am on the same page with everyone before I submit my PLA Portfolio for Evaluation.
- Since I took the Kaplan PLA course I do not need to take the TESC PLA course right?
-PLA Portfolio Evaluation is 12 credits for $379 right?
In the PLA portfolio evaluation I am going to submit the below:
-Evidence I've worked in the field
-A narrative for each course demonstrating I know the CD/LO for each course(I used the LO for the foundation of each course).
-A resume that is applicable to the course
-Evidence that supports my narrative and resume
Does this all sounds right? Anything I need to add?
Thanks!

For those interested in seeing what the PLA 100 and 200 courses look like at TESU, here are the open course versions. They also provide templates for use:

Thanks for the Open Course link! Since I have taken the Kaplan PLA course how do I proceed straight to the Portfolio process? Kaplan PLA course was completed and an official transcript was sent to TESC.

Others may have had different experiences.
I am planning on portfolioing myself.
According to the guy over portfolios (forget the contact info, not in this computer), you can *not* submit portfolios for review unless you take the TESU course. So, once I knock out cornerstone and a couple of other core courses, that's my plan. It duplicates my kaplan, so it is not going to count for credit, nor would be eligible for any sort of financial assistance, but what else can you do?
If anybody knows a way to beat this, I'm all ears, but since the TESU course is basically how they want their portfolios done, I can't see how.
