Links to brochures for the 3 degrees. These show what certificates you can choose from for each program and what courses are included(hint: some courses like calculus 2, computer science 1/2, managerial accounting, and professional communication are planned for release in time for their corresponding semester).
Could be a good opportunity for someone who is already collecting mostly RA credits and doesn't have many other local/flexible CC options for an associates degree. If one maximized transfer credits and only needed the final 15 through outlier/GGU, they'd pay $149 * 15 = $2235. Having the CS 1/2, calc 1/2, and accounting courses as potential RA options could be beneficial for some. Also, application is free.
Note on transfer: it looks like they limit non accredited transfer(military, work, certificates, etc.) Would be limited to 12. I'm guess ACE, if they accept it, would be included in that limit.

I just talked to a live agent regarding the degree. Here are some of the important points she noted.
Can we transfer current credits we own from Outlier towards the degree? YES
What are the requirements for international students? High School Equivalency / GED + TOEFL (53 score on iBT)
International students are not eligible for Financial Aid
The early admissions deadline is October 18, 2022 for a January 2023 start date.
You can apply for free until November 22, 2022 (we waive the fee).
The final deadline is December 12, 2022, to apply for the Spring 2023 term ($40 fee applies).
The professional certificates are offered through Coursera
Do you accept ACE Credits? Yes, up to 12 credits can be ACE credits.
You can transfer up to 45 credits into the program. GGU also accepts up to 12 units of transfer credit from unaccredited entities (including past work experience and military experience).

I didn't find a transfer policy on this in the current catalog. Is it somewhere else on their site?

@msa145, did you happen to ask if previously completed outlier.org courses count against the 45 credit transfer limit? It seems one would save quite a bit by taking their courses primarily through outlier @ $400/each before discounts and then finishing up with the GGU Degree+ program to get an associates. The obvious limiting factor would be doing it through outlier wouldn't be eligible for traditional finaid whereas being enrolled at GGU would make you eligible for finaid.

I didn't ask that specifically she told the previous credits from Outlier can be transferd towards the degree. You can go to live chat from outlier and tell the robot to connect to a human.

In the brochure sample schedule, there are 12 courses + 1 certificate. Does that means the certificate worth 24 credits (60 - 12x3) ?

I believe they mentioned that the courses would be worth 4 credits each(which seems inflated for most of them), making the Coursera cert worth 12 credits, which is roughly in line with what some of their ACE recommendations correspond to. Can't be 100% certain yet, though.

Yeah I was talking to a human earlier when I got the brochures and other info, but also forgot to ask, so just thought I'd check if you happened to ask.

I'm currently taking four classes through outlier and saw this drop today. My original plan was to finish and then apply those credits to WGU but I have to admit, I have really enjoyed the experience on outlier and I'm tempted to postpone WGU and get the AS for applied computer science through them.
But if what you say is true, specifically, that computer science I/II, Calculus II, won't be ready for a while, that would mean too much of a delay for me I think, I already have an english I credit from a community college and I'm currently taking precalculus intro to business, intro to philosophy, and intro to statistics through them, plus I've already completed a number of ace credits through sophia(only being able to transfer in 12 is another downside for my situation).
Jealous of any first time students who gets to take advantage of this program though!
Seems like a step in the right direction!
