Opportunities for graded standardized tests are vanishing
#1
With DSST getting rid of those 5 exams (Geology, Accounting, Western Europe, Modern Middle East, Business Law II) and not allowing registration for the three remaining exams that were still being scored under the old system (Soviet Union, Anthropology, Money and Banking), it looks like DSST tests can no longer be used to earn letter grades at Excelsior or Charter Oak State College. This is a shame, because those were a good way for people who needed a GPA but also wanted a test out option (or who wanted to raise their GPA) to accomplish that mission.

As of early 2015, it appears that the only way to get a grade by taking an exam for credit is to take the ECE/UEXCEL exams.
