Hey,
Ive been trying to hash out this Management degree for some time. I remember long ago one could I think take 8 TECEPS and almost get the full degree. Is that still true? It seems that I'm still under the 2014 to 2015 Catalog when I look at my student center. Is this still valid or have things totally changed?

I’m going to guess that things have changed. But I will let one of the experts on this forum break it all down.

Hi loops77, Can you go into your academic evaluation and copy/paste or send a screenshot or PDF? (just remove your personal info, but I'd like to see the entire evaluation including other and notes). Also, in your TESU OSS, in the Student "My Profile", does it show you as inactive in the Student Status? Copy/paste what it shows there and the Start Date such as: "CPIAC Corporate Choice Active" 12/09/21. You should view the template and last page addendum to provide us as much information as possible in regards to your situation: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

I had a hard time uploading, so I hope these links show up on the post. I remember becoming inactive, and re-enrolling a couple of timess. I only got around to earning 3 credits and am
working on a sociology TECEP now.

Wow, all I have to say is, great work, you got to keep that old catalog so you don't have to do the darn Cornerstone! Hahaha... you saved a whopping grand right there! Here's your first and only step you need to take, follow this WIKI to the T and it'll get you the degree. First and foremost, get a second monitor for multi-tasking, sign up for Sophia.org using the BTS22 coupon code (ASAP, before Sept 15) and work on all the non proctored courses (up to 90+ credits in 2-3 months). There are links you need to do them in order:
BSBA General Ed: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...ts_Roadmap
BSBA Core courses: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...re_Roadmap
BSBA GM requirements https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
Edit to Add: Oh, you didn't get the screenshot of the "Other/Notes" section at the bottom. That's the critical component missing, it'll tell you if you're part of the group that can take all alternative credit courses OR if you need to take the 30RA credits. You should really copy/paste that last portion into a reply or update your post. It may determine to stay with TESU or go to UMPI or another degree provider such as Excelsior University.

thank you so much! Without the cornerstone people are recently talking about, I should be able to have this done pretty darn fast. Its long overdue!
are these the notes you are talking about? @bjcheung77

Hmm, it's still a grey area, it doesn't have an indication on the number of required RA credits needed, they implemented that a couple of years ago. I would just get the 90 credits or so done with Sophia.org right now and send the transcripts in for evaluation. The update will indicate you'll need the RA or not... I suggest doing all the non-touchstone Sophia.org courses first and transfer them into TESU to get that updated evaluation and note. Take all the ones that go to Excelsior/TESU/UMPI and have no touchstones: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/So...lency_List

Good news for you: I have a copy of the 2014-2015 catalog (I was in that one) and it shows that the Per-credit tuition plan residency requirements of 24cr can be met via TECEP exams. I'm sure they will say that it no longer applies, but I don't think new policies override written policies in your catalog.
You can't take the old capstone TECEP, since they no longer offer it - but I would push HARD for the 24cr of residency being met with TECEP's, as that will cost $1,050 for 7 LL TECEP exams (21 x $50) vs. paying $3288 for the residency waiver. Then you just pay $1605 for the capstone, plus a couple of fees.
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU CONTINUE TO TAKE TECEP EXAMS SO THAT YOU MAINTAIN RESIDENCY IN THIS CATALOG! If you let it slip, you're in the 2022 catalog, so you can't make a mistake here.

Thanks for your reply. Do you think I should schedule an appointment with an advisor or just take the credits through Sophia and wait for an evaluation...then fight hard for it after?
