Update, with everyone’s advice I’ve decided to pursue a BLS at UMPI. It looks like each course would have open book exams (rare), essays, or power point projects as the final. I seen it’s also unprotected which is definitely a bonus for accelerating and being brief with the material.
$1,500 per 8 week semester is very cost friendly, and it looks like I’ll be able to transfer in 81-90 credits, and I’ll need 10-13 courses (minor/elective related).
So, instead of 10 months you all have made it possible for a 2-4 month completion. Thank you haha.

Minor correction: the exams aren't supposed to be open book. But they are supposed to be eliminated with the switch over to Brightspace. Considering how much writing is needed for law, doing a paper or project for each UMPI class should be good practice.

Update: July 10th applied, July 14th Fafsa was received, July 17th I was called by admissions, and on the 18th accepted.
Fafsa has been fully packaged as of July 19th, and I’m still waiting on my transcript evaluation.
This has been a really quick experience for me!
I’m sure you’ve all had the pleasure of seeing this time and time again, but it’s new to me. Thanks again!

Fingers crossed that most of my credits transfer haha.
Update for non-aba law schools, NorthWestern California school of law would not accept Sophia credits as an official transcript to meet the 60 credit hour requirement, but did say they would approve the courses if on an official transcript from a college/university.
Tesu credit banking would possibly work, or any other college which fully accepts Ace credits. Once my credits are transferred into UMPI, and I begin my first term I’ll send my transcript back to NWCULAW and see if that gets a go for anyone curious. It’ll be my backup if I can’t get into a non-predatory law school with a decent scholarship.

Pierpont BOG accepted all of my credit hours, and is trying to get me in for this summer's graduation. I was told I can order my Transcript now and send it to employers who require 60 college credits (NYPD comes to mind).

Update: Still waiting on UMPI to review my transfer courses.
Pier Pont (Nancy) has given my degree audit to Lisa! Lisa approved my audit, and sent it to the Dean. I’m scheduled to graduate TOMORROW the 4th, with the Pier Pont AAS BOG concentration in Criminal Justice.
They accepted 87 transfer credits
So, by the end of day tomorrow I’ll call to confirm, but I should have an associate degree !!!!!

With degree in hand I received a request today (after reaching out) to send in my official transcripts from Pierpont.
NWCU is going to reevaluate my application *free of charge** and see if they can accept me into their Cal-bar accredited Law School.
I’ve also recently been thinking about pivoting towards the WGU MBA Information Technology.
I’d then do 3-4 programming certificates through Georgia Tech, and then apply for the OMSCS. All in $32,000 combined for a JD, MBA, MSCS.
I will update this thread the moment I find out if NWCU accepts the degree awarded transcript. It’s only $7 worst case scenario.
I find it conflicting, because they mention they don’t accept A.A.S degrees, but do accept 60 credit hours for entry into the program. I wonder if because it’s considered 60 credit hours within an A.A.S if that’ll be their reason for denial? We shall find out.
