I found the Microbachelor program and it's something. I think it depends on what they actually call them because there's a few degrees these may fit in, none of which could be completed with only alternative credits.

Assuming you can get financial aid, 8 credits for $113 isn't bad.

8 general elective credits for $1122 is horrible
if they really give 8 upper level credits in chemistry as listed here
https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/edx-credit
that might be good
but here
https://www.edx.org/microbachelors/harva...d76575c3ad.
it says
Please note, credit for this program is not provided by Harvard University. This program is awarded eight (8) academic credits at Thomas Edison State University towards a general elective course.
and reading the course descriptions, those are not upper level chem courses
they are barely lower level chem courses

They do come into TESU as UL Chem though -
https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/edx-credit:
CHE-310 3cr
CHE-320 2cr
CHE-330 3cr
For $1122, the cost comes out to be $140/cr - not bad for UL credit. Not great, but not bad.
