New here, BS NEET TESU finish.
#1
Greetings all,

I am new here, and have just a few more courses to finish my BS NEET at TESU. I'm currently enrolled in the required NUC-490 "Assessment/Career Planning," then have the capstone, plus the following three requirements to satisfy;

Computer Programming/Programmable Logic Controllers
Civic Engagement
Principles of Statistics

I would really like to finish this all out by the end of the year, and was hoping you could share some suggestions for completing those as quickly as possible. After reading here some, I have found that perhaps these might work;

- Straigterline Intro to computer programming in C++.
- Saylor introduction to statistics.

I am not sure what will satisfy the civics engagement elective. Also, I see that Saylor also has C++, has anyone used that?

Thanks for your help.

Justin

Civics Engagement can be done through Saylor (if that's who you want to use) by POLSC221: Intro to Comparative Politics.

American Government can be had through other methods as well - Study.com, Straighterline, CLEP, etc.

Either one of those will work (you don't have to do both).

thanks. That answers one of my questions as well. What is required to fulfill General Ed requirements? 17-20 credits? Any science or math-based courses would do?

Anything that falls into the general categories of HUMANITIES, SOCIAL SCIENCES, NATURAL SCIENCES (including COMPUTER SCIENCE at TESU), MATH, etc.

Math has to be at least Intermediate Algebra or above.

Justin, are you in the September term for the NUC 490 course?

Btw, I used:
American government CLEP for Civic engagement
&
Study.com for statistics

Also, tesu advisors confirmed to me that the StraighterLine c++ programming course would work. It's my backup in case onlinedegree python programming course doesn't work(haven't checked with advising on that one yet).
