New UMPI BAS Website
Quote:Already have an Associate’s degree in a trade or technical area? Want to pursue a bachelor’s degree that complements and incorporates your prior college work? Then our Bachelor of Applied Science degree is specially designed with you in mind. Our BAS builds on degree work you’ve already completed and complements it with a Liberal Arts education so you can attain your bachelor’s degree in the shortest amount of time possible.
The Four Components to the Degree
You need to:
- Have an Associate of Applied Science degree from an accredited community or technical college.
- Meet the University general education requirements worth 44 credits, some of which may be transferred in from his/her associate’s work.
- Select a minor from offerings in the current UMPI catalogue.
- Take at least 30 credits of your BAS coursework at UMPI, 12 of which must be in a selected minor and 18 of which must be upper level courses (300- 400). These 18 upper level credits taken at UMPI may be taken as part of the GEC, the minor, or as elective credit.
All candidates for the bachelor’s degree must complete the General Education Curriculum.

Note that this BAS website (or landing page) is not specific to YourPace, so when it's built out further it may show BAS course and minor options that are only available to on-campus students, or to students taking non-YourPace (priced per credit, traditionally scheduled) online courses.

True but the BAS was never listed on YourPace.
Also I checked their YourPace Programs website and it says...
"We are currently expanding our YourPace offerings. If you don’t see your degree above, check to see if your Program of Interest has already been created using our Request More Information form below or give us a call."
Then in the "Request More Info" section, if you select the dropdown menu for the "Program of Interest" it lists 9 Applied Science options.
So I suspect these are being added in.

The BAS is now listed in the drop-down menus under Request More Information on
the YourPace landing page and on the
YourPace application form (in both, alphabetized as "Applied Science").

The BAS has been available on the YourPace application page for quite awhile. The new UMPI website is not great and feels unorganized.

I do not see any classes listed on this webpage. It's still under construction so who knows why they even made it go live. This is clearly not a YourPace page. The YourPace programs are all on one webpage. Even that is not a great page. The new website lacks a great deal of information which was on the old one.

The only thing that wasn't mentioned was that you need 40 technical credits to qualify for the BAS.
