ACC202: Intermediate Accounting II
BUS304: Leading Organizational Change (UL)
BUS313: Organizational Communication (UL)
BUS319: Negotiations and Conflict Management (UL)
BUS321: Small Business Management (UL)
FIN301: Corporate Finance (UL)
MARK302: Consumer Behavior (UL) -4cr
MARK308: Applied Marketing (UL)
PSY310: Psychology of Personality (UL)
COMPSCI102: Fundamentals of IT

I didn't check for anything more, life if anything was updated to UL from LL, so there might be additional changes.

So if you completed MAR302, and wanted TESU to give you 4 UL marketing credits under a BSBA GM, or 3 UL finance credits for FIN301, why will they not do it?

Who said they won't?  I think these are brand new, so if no one has tried to send them in for credit, we don't know what TESU will do.

For the record:
Corporate Finance through both Davar and PF are given UL credit from TESU.
Consumer Behavior through PF and CSU-Global are also given UL credit from TESU.

So I'm not sure why they wouldn't give UL credit from Study.com, especially considering NCCRS says they're UL?

Study.com doesn't have Comp Science II, I'm not sure what course you're asking about.

Hi All,

We just posted new courses that were recently NCCRS approved! These courses + more will be in several upcoming ACE reviews, with results coming sometime in April, approximately. They'll still need to be evaluated by TESU, but we hope this helps you all have more options when earning your degrees!

Best,
The Study.com Team

Oh No!  I didn't understand the difference between ACE and NCCRS. I still don't.  I took: Computer Science 102: Fundamentals of Information.

Will TESU recognize this course?  I was hoping it would fit in the Gen Ed Electives area for me (BSBA Finance).  If so, how do I get the credits there?

As always, I appreciate the guidance.

ACE and NCCRS are college credit recommendation services.  They are the ones that course providers go to, and ask for recommendation for credit.  They have their hoops to jump through to prove that they're college-level learning.

ACE is larger and accepted more than NCCRS.  The military uses ACE to give recommendations for their training, and CLEP and DSST exams are ACE-recommended.

ACE also offers a "credit banking" service, where you open a free ACE account, and as you accumulate credit, you get it "deposited" into your ACE account.  You can request that ACE send a transcript of all of your courses any time you want (for a fee of course).

NCCRS does not offer credit banking, so each time you take an NCCRS-recommended course, you request that the course provider sends a transcript of just that course to your school.

If you're using one of the Big 3, then they don't care which service you use, so it doesn't matter if a course is ACE, NCCRS or both.  For other schools that say they accept ACE, they may or may not take NCCRS, so it always pays to know what a course is in that case.

O.k. This doesn't sound terrible.  I have an ACE account and have been using it with great success.

I guess I just need to establish an account with NCCRS and have it submitted to TESU.

Thank You

All you have to do is send an email to customer service at study.com and they will send the transcript directly to TESU.

You don't have an account with NCCRS.
