New DSST versions coming soon

If you're an Excelsior student looking for graded credit via Dantes business exams, go take them soon! The following exams are being "refreshed" this summer, which means a 3-digit scoring system, which almost certainly means no more letter grades from EC:

• Principles of Finance

• Principles of Supervision

• Introduction to Business

• Business Mathematics

The new versions will be available beginning 7/15/09, but you can still opt for the old versions through 8/31/09.

Bummer. I suppose all of the tests will eventually be scored on the 100 to 500 scale.

Greatful for this information. I went to the DSST site to investigate and thought I would share this information.

The old ones can be taken until August 31, 2009. (for credit)

The new ones will be available July 15, 2009. (for pass/fail)

It looks like you will be able to choose which ever one you want.
