It seems that they don't accept CLEP for English which is pretty dumb, but I would recommend that you speak to your advisor/registrar and see if they can make an exception for you given how many credits you've done. Otherwise you'll have to be pay like $315 for the course (at lease PCC is cheap!). If you can take a CLEP in English you'll get 6 credits and it'll cost you a total of $100 plus spare you the agony of doing a 3.5 month course doing essays, hw assignments, projects, and other blarney.

Thanks everyone! I agree it seems to make sense to finish out at PCC and then pursue an advanced degree elsewhere.

I concur. While you are finishing with your PCC degree, its not too early to start looking at planning your bachelor's degree.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

If you are having difficulty with the English or Math departments there are places you might consider to take the courses instead of PCC. I'm not sure if that's your issue, but places like
English-Independent Study in Idaho-University of Idaho have inexpensive, self paced courses that should satisfy the requirement. English 101 at U of Idaho is only 4 papers that you write and work through...not that big of a deal at all.

What IT Certs do you have? This wont effect your Associates but depending on what you would want a Bachelors in it might have some impact.
