You need:
WR121 (3 cr)
and
College Math CLEP = MTH105 (4 cr)
Your tuition rate is $92, so you're looking at $276 tuition and $100 for the CLEP = $376
So as you can see, there's no reason to go elsewhere for your AA.
Right - if that's the case, then he should absolutely finish the AA from there, by taking a CLEP in English or do the WR121 course and do a CLEP in College Mathematics, then look into doing a bachelors at COSC or TESC or Excelsior.
University Transfer: College Level Exam Program | PCC
It seems that they don't accept CLEP for English which is pretty dumb, but I would recommend that you speak to your advisor/registrar and see if they can make an exception for you given how many credits you've done. Otherwise you'll have to be pay like $315 for the course (at lease PCC is cheap!). If you can take a CLEP in English you'll get 6 credits and it'll cost you a total of $100 plus spare you the agony of doing a 3.5 month course doing essays, hw assignments, projects, and other blarney.

Thanks everyone! I agree it seems to make sense to finish out at PCC and then pursue an advanced degree elsewhere.

I concur. While you are finishing with your PCC degree, its not too early to start looking at planning your bachelor's degree.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

If you are having difficulty with the English or Math departments there are places you might consider to take the courses instead of PCC. I'm not sure if that's your issue, but places like
English-Independent Study in Idaho-University of Idaho have inexpensive, self paced courses that should satisfy the requirement. English 101 at U of Idaho is only 4 papers that you write and work through...not that big of a deal at all.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

What IT Certs do you have? This wont effect your Associates but depending on what you would want a Bachelors in it might have some impact.

I currently have:
CompTIA: Project+
CompTIA: Healthcare IT Technician
AHIMA: Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist: Implementation Support Specialist (CHTS - IS)
AHIMA: Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist: Technical/Software Support Staff (CHTS - TS)
SonicWALL: Certified SonicWALL Security Administrator (CSSA)
I'm testing for the CompTIA Server+ certificate next week. For the bachelors I was thinking of a Health Informatics degree, but a Sociology or Social Science degree may work as well.

Health Informatics is a great idea, so much work out there!

Out of curiosity... how close would I be to a Bachelors in Social Science?
