I found this test a little difficult (even though I am a science major) because of the breath of knowledge it covers. I am not sure if things have changed since I took it in 2010, but at that time Biology was up to 50% of the test. IC does have flashcards for Bio and many use that as a starting point to study. The REA book was also very good for this exam. I am also a believer in the power of practice exams. If you are military Petersons are free otherwise they are ~$20 for 3 exams on the subject.

Thanks.. I someone gave me the REA Study guide. I will try the Peterson's site... The person who gave me the REA said that they know people that are studying for the same test and on practice tests they are getting 48 - 49.. so, I will study as much as I can and see what I get on practice test. just nervous with my friend, friend, trying and getting those scores on practice tests, just hope the test is not going to be that difficult.
just checked the instantcert.com and they don't have natural sciences, am I looking at the right site?

No IC does not have Natural Science flashcards but they do have Biology flashcards, since half the test is Bio these can help. Have you checked the college board site that explains what is covered in the test?
Never use just one source to study I always try to use at least 3 including Peterson practice test. With Practice test it is important to go back and see what you got wrong and study that area. Khan academy or googling a word or idea are other ways to check out concepts you are having problems with. Remember this test covers a little chemistry a little physics, a little astronomy and a little environmental science. Of course there is always Wikipedia although I am not crazy about them because some things are not fact checked. On practice test I usually shoot for 60% correct before I take the real thing, some just shoot for 50% if I remember correctly Natural science is one where the practice test can be harder than the real thing. Another source of study material and a practice test is the official CLEP study guide, for this you can check your local library, even if it is from a few years ago the natural science test has not been updated lately (at least as far as I know.

The natural science CLEP is not hard but, it covers a lot of material. Subject count when I took the test was 22. Hippocampus, study, free-clep-prep, the REA book, and the CLEP practice test book are great to use. Took the natural science CLEP before I found out about InstantCert so, cannot say how good the flashcards are for this test. If overwhelmed by the amount of stuff needed to memorize, then switch over to the biology CLEP. The biology CLEP is 6 credits also.
