I saw the news report when NBC aired it. I think that it was a very good news piece. I also believe that it will have alot of people looking a little differently at online learning. Thank you for sharing.

So what is the general consensus on WGU? Does anyone have knowledge of their transfer credit and CLEP/DTTS guidelines and/or limitations? Sounds like an intriguing institution to consider, and if the "name game" is a relevant consideration, this one sounds pretty good. Thanks...

I believe WGU has a 30 credit hour min. on hours that must be taken there and most likely accepts 30 hours from clep/dantes. Not certain but likely. I go to Fort Hays State University. Its in Kansas, it has a good rep. and took 60 of my 63 hours from community college. Also it took my 5 clep and dantes so far. The clep/dantes FHSU accepts are limited and they do not take the easy ones but FHSU is worth considering it's been around since 1902, is a division II school with 10,000 students, 5,000 of them are online like myself. It only cost $160 a credit hour and is somewhat easy to get accepted.

Here is a link to reviews for different online colleges. I believe this will go directly to WSU. I know absolutely nothing about this college, so read at your own discretion....

Very neat. Reminded me of some other "little known colleges" that allow students to earn their degree online and through testing!
Actually, I think it's kind of funny this is apparently such a novelty to them.
