I'm getting a bit impatient with my car which of course had to go in the shop before today (first CLEP test).
I have a 99 integra ls 5 speed and just had the engine light come on and throw the codes that I was misfiring all cylinders. For the record, its not tuned, as stock as I can make it now (its lowered) so I know it wouldn't be from some shoty attempt to make it a ricer. I did have an issue 2 years ago where I hit a cut out in the road (pa sucks for road work) and ended up messing up the grounds. Supposedly that is fixed but it hasn't been the same car since.
My mechanic is usually really good about things but the car has been in since Saturday and they still can't find the misfire. I had a code about a month ago for a single misfire - they changed my spark plugs and the code went away. I have no loss in power, no problem accelerating, nothing feels any different. One of the mechanics said that he had it once with a civic he rebuilt and it was the distributor. Apparently mine is fine?...
I figured hondas are fairly common and perhaps someone on here may have seen this before in the same car or a civic.
