I FINALLY have a listing of all my credits in one location -- UMPI has had their first run at my transcripts and I don't really take issue with anything they've rejected (all F, D, and W coursework got rejected as expected).
I have attached their transfer credit transcript and I am interested to know where I sit with respect to requirements toward a degree. I have not yet had my sit-down with Jessica to discuss this and would like a few pointers before having that conversation.
If it changes the conversation any, I already have a degree and this would be a second degree. I'm looking at one of the Business Administration degrees, likely Supply Chain or Project Management.
Could someone please point me toward the degree requirements spreadsheets?
And a couple of specific questions:
- I have a course called Public Speaking currently marked as a GEL -- is there no requirement for a speech course? I feel like that should maybe come in as a defined course.
- They don't yet have my CLEP credit reflected here even though I sent that in a few weeks ago. Should I be looking in a different location for that? I have the following CLEPs:

Since it appears I am exempt from the GEC requirements, I took a first pass at the Business Core.
This is a little disappointing:
Code:
UMPI Course Name | Credit Achieved
----------------------------------------------------|--------------------
BUS 101: Introduction to Business
BUS 150: Introduction to Financial Accounting Accounting CLEP
BUS 200: Intermediate Business Computing
BUS 220: Managerial Accounting
BUS 244: Management Information Systems NONE (Information Systems CLEP only counts for BUS125)
BUS 325: Financial Management
BUS 353: Legal & Ethical Environment of Business NONE (Business Law CLEP counts for BUS350)
BUS 440: Business Analytics
BUS 469: Strategic Professional Communication
ECO 207: Macro & Micro Economics Microeconomics (TC)
MAT 140: Mathematics for Business Calculus 1 (TC)
PCJ 215: Business Communication
----- possible electives -----
BUS 323: Fundamentals of Supply Chain and Logistics Study.com Business 315
BUS 415: Operations Management Study.com Business 312
BUS 330: Marketing Management Principles of Marketing CLEP
CLEP exams generally take a while - I think it's a paper transcript that's mailed out. So that will come in later.
But, since it's a second degree, it doesn't really matter what everything comes in as, unless it's for the BABA; you won't need to worry about GE's or Free Electives, just the major/minor/concentration.
Since you've already completed a bachelor's degree, you're exempt from the GEC. You need to complete 30 credits in the major at UMPI - not GEC or general elective courses. The major includes the Business Administration and Concentration courses.
BUS353 is NOT Business Law and they have not accepted any Business Law courses for this course.
Before taking any CLEP exams make sure they will transfer for the courses you're hoping for. They will eventually show up in your MaineStreet account. You can ask about them when you meet with your academic advisor.
ECO207 requires you to transfer in both macro & micro economics or else you have to take this course because it's both at UMPI.
MAT3xx will not be accepted for MAT140. Business Math is easy.

I took the CLEPs anyway for personal reasons and am trying to shoe-horn a degree out of them after the fact, but if I lose a little credit it ain't no bag, I didn't pay for them.
I am looking at an old catalog right now but there's precedent for a Calculus I course to take the place of Business Math. Though I agree, it's not a huge deal if I get to take some baby math again.
It appears to me with the credits I have in the bank that the Management and Leadership concentration is going to be the most advantageous path forward. By my count, I'm still 42 hours away. Now, I need to decide whether to try to bring in 12 more hours of Sophia/Study.com credit or roll it into an all-you-can-eat semester. 30 all at once would be extremely busy, but 21 hours twice? That's probably a lot closer to doable.

Interestingly, that is not how they transferred mine in -- I have Micro and Macro for credit but they did a grade-replace and called the other one "repeat credit". Maybe that's the mechanism they use to do it, though. I can't know.

He did take both Macro and Microecon. They're listed there, showing a "repeat" which I guess is their way of saying there's nowhere for that extra credit to go (if this was a first degree, I think they would give 3cr down in electives?).

Yeah you need both but you don't get 6 credits for ECO207. If someone doesn't have 90 transfer credits they'll get 3 for ECO207 and then 3 GEL credits in their general electives but since the OP already has a degree there's no general electives to fill.
