Most of the time, Americans will go outside the US only if they can get a good financial deal. I'm not sure if there is something special about this school that makes it worth the cost (other than the fact that it's French). It seems like it's been around quite a long time and there's a chance that it has a good reputation.

Triple crown accreditation in a doctorate from a place with over a century of history; for that price? I can absolutely see the appeal of that.

Very good deal indeed! Here are their rankings from their own site: https://www.montpellier-bs.com/internati.../rankings/
If you're looking for more details on the program, here's the link: https://www.montpellier-bs.com/internati...ission-en/
I wonder why their site is a school name followed by "-BS.COM", for that reason, I though they weren't a school until I clicked and looked closely...
Just curious on the fees - The fee above indicates 27K Euro, but the links say it's 24K instead, where did the extra 3K go?

Yes - one of the officially-named Grandes Ecoles. The real thing. Yes, EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB - Triple Crown all right. That puts it into the territory of only 2% of Euro business schools.
The BS is simply "Business School" Not part of the domain. The $3K? I have no idea. Maybe someone will do a dissertation on it. The .com raises no alarms here. I just looked up Grenoble Ecole de Management - another high ranking French School - also a .com. Stuff like domain use differs from country to country it seems.

So, Johann... I actually just looked up Grenoble Ecole de Management because of your post on this board. They also are Triple Accredited, their DBA is twice as expensive as this one though. Link: Doctorate in Business Administration at Woodbury, Burbank, California (grenoble-em.com)
I also noticed they offer a butt-in-seat 5 year PhD in Business Admin for FREE if you're selected! Woo hoo! There goes 5 years of someone's research life... I guess it's a trade off if they're interested in a "long-travel". Link: PhD in Business Administration | Grenoble Ecole de Management (grenoble-em.com)
"Admitted candidates receive a tuition waiver covering all tuition fees. The PhD student is classed as a regular employee with an annually renewable contract pending performance evaluation. Salary covers the monthly living cost of a student in Grenoble."
Edit to add: You know what, for someone who is looking for a second passport or residency, completing this Butt-in-Seat offering might be sufficient enough to gain Permanent Residency in France?! It might be a great option for those looking to have a second home in that country.

Doh! I didn't sign up for the brochure as I didn't want to provide any personal details... I *knew* I missed something!

Doh! I didn't sign up for the brochure as I didn't want to provide any personal details... I *knew* I missed something! Is there a way to find those "butt-in-seat" programs you mentioned? That would be a rly cheap pathway to temporary residency.

It's the second link in bjcheung77's post. Thats for that one specific school he talked about. I need to know how to look for others, im not asking for a curated list, just the proper search terms to use. Cant exactly google butt in seat programs.
