About to use the
3 courses for $297 offer at Sophia (lasts until today). Just need to confirm a few things before choosing/buying the courses:
1.
Introduction to Ethics at Sophia transfers in as PHI-180 (current ACE subscription ends 9/30/2019 by the way). This would work fine for the ETHICS requirement, even if it is a PHI-1XX course (rather than PHI-2XX)?
2. The
Conflict Resolution course comes in as COM-299, and the
Essentials of Managing Conflict comes in as SOS-240.
- Is
Essentials of Managing Conflict (SOS-240) just a basic version of
Conflict Resolution (COM-299), of which the material directly comes from
Conflict Resolution (COM-299)?
- If both were taken, would there be a course conflict, or it would be fine since they come in as SOS-240 and COM-299?

According to the page linked below, Sophia's ethics course fulfills the ethics requirement for a BSAST degree.

1) Did you not want to go the free route with The Institute for your ethics requirement?
2) When I planned them into my bachelor's, my advisor did not mention a conflict, however, COM-299 went into my LL AOS for Communication whereas the SOS-240 was planned in Electives, IIRC. I did not complete SOS-240, only COM-299. Both are a walk in the park.
Sophia.org Conflict Resolution = TESU COM-299 Independent Study (3)
Sophia.org The Essentials of Managing Conflict = TESU SOS-240 Managing Conflict (1)
HTH!
