It can be done remotely. Sorry for the late reply. I actually just did the training and scheduled my exam. There were options to pick a Pearson Vue center or schedule remote proctoring.

Plus there's the microsoft ignite thing that can get you one or more free vouchers and the $15 COVID vouchers if you really want to get in on some microsoft certifications. I'm still backlogged on some other certification exams that work payed for right before covid hit, otherwise I'd be studying to be a microsoft pro

They are offering this again. I did the fundamentals course/webinars earlier in the month. Free voucher is included.
I took the test today and passed!

Awesome! Yeah they hold the events regularly so it's a great way to get all of their Fundamentals/900 level exams for free. I've done Ai-900, AZ-900, DP-900, and SC-900 so far.
