As part of their One Million Certified in Cybersecurity initiative to bridge the workforce shortage in cybersecurity, isc2(known for their CISSP and other certs) is offering a lot, including free candidate membership with their org for 1 year(comes with a credly badge), a training course, and a certification attempt for their newly launched entry level cert: CC(Certified in Cybersecurity). Also, I believe they are offering free retakes for any exam attempted before the end of October 2022.

On the link, it doesn't indicate if the candidate badge expires. I guess it'll stay in Credly but won't show an expired indication anywhere if you decide to add the badges elsewhere, like LinkedIn? I haven't used any social media for the badges, so I'm asking, curious what that Candidate badge will do for me as well if anything at all, good for the experience and review I guess...

How long do you have to take the course ? Can you register and take it later ?
