I want to make sure before we pay for the TECEP, which has a start date of 1/4/21, that enrolling in this would make my husband an “enrolled student” for the 1/1/21 deadline to give him time to complete the >90cr ACE until 3/1.
Anyone know if paying for a TECEP now will immediately grandfather him in on the 1/1 rule going into effect?
Also, I thought it was good for a year, but it has an end date of 3/28. He actually needs the single credit, so he will likely take it after his ACE is done, but I thought it was 1yr to complete. Or was it just that paying for it means he’s considered enrolled for a year?

As long as you are enrolled by the March term, you're good. It's not a 1/1 deadline. So you're good.
After paying for the TECEP, you have until 3/28 to schedule a test date. The one-year period is indeed how long enrollment will last.

Wait though, the new rule is effective 1/1/21, so as I read it, you needed to be enrolled prior to that date to be able to continue to turn in > 90 credits until 3/1. No? I keep reading conflicting opinions on this.

Quote:I am a current applicant who applied between January 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021 or am an inactive student*. I have already transferred 45/90 credits from one or more single sources from ACE/NCCRS to TESU. Can I have additional credits from these sources?
Quote:Yes, you can. Please have the transcript(s) sent to TESU immediately. We will review any transfer credit and apply the 45/90 credits per single-source interpretation provided we receive the transcript before March 1, 2021 and you enroll in a course in the January, February or March 2021 term. If we receive your transcript(s) after March 1, 2021, we will review your transfer credit from ACE/NCCRS and apply it to your degree requirements in accordance with the policy clarification of up 45/90 credits total from both sources as well as within other academic policies.
