This course from TESU is an Upper Level course, it is a lot different than College Algebra by reading their description.
College Algebra is a first year course, whereas the Modeling course is a third year course. Check below. Link: https://www2.tesu.edu/course.php?CourseC...de=MAT-351

Hi
Check the syllabus https://www2.tesu.edu/syllabus/current/M...T-351.html Check the book Giordano, Frank R., Fox, William P., & Horton, Steven B. (2014). A First Course in Mathematical Modeling 5th ed. Boston, MA: Brooks/Cole, Cengage Learning. Michael

The two courses aren't even in the same league. It's real math. College algebra isn't. When you read the syllabus and see the word "graph", it has a completely different meaning than the one you know. If you're unfamiliar with the other terms in the syllabus, it's a 10 of 10 difficulty for you.

I wonder why they don't list the prereq's for the course (like, do you just need College Algebra, or Calc III??)?
